Excellent inn on the outskirts of the village and almost adjacent to East Midlands airport, so great for plane spotters ! Most though, would visit for the well kept ales and wonderful food. The Nags Head has a small bar area with a differing range of pictures on the wall reflecting the local attractions such as the airport, the motor racing circuit and wherever the nearest sea is ! There is a room set aside for diners and a boules pitch outside for the sportsmen. |

Excellent little 17th Century inn which is filled with all sorts of memorabilia and a very impressive collection of water jugs hanging from the beamed ceiling. Located right on the Derbyshire border as the Old Crown is adjacent to the River Trent which is the actual boundary. |
