The Chequered Skipper is also the venue for the World Conker Championships, held in October. Although Oak beamed and flagstone floored the Skipper has all that you would expect from a modern contempory inn such as being Wi-Fi enabled. The Chequered Skipper offers high quality food using local suppliers along with a range of real ales.
