The Bell & Dragon or 'Bel and the Dragon' is an excellent 14th Century wattle & daub inn serving a wonderful menu, excellent cask ales and good wines. Some prefer the inn before it was refurbished to form a few small rooms that open up into a large open plan dining area but the warm welcome and quality service can't be faulted. Gone are the copper topped tables, replaced by rustic timber ones - there still remains an Old English feel.

Superb restaurant specialising as the name suggests, in fresh fish delivered daily from Cornwall. The welcome and service is as good as it gets and the tables are very comfortably spaced. The beer quality is not as good as the pubs in the village but the food is outstanding and with a good wine list, the Fish is certainly worth a visit.
