Good food & ales are served in a relaxing setting where it's hard to imagine the hustle & bustle of bygone days when Nelson's Man 'o' War ships were being built at Buckler's Hard. Part of the hotel is known as the Yachtsman's Bar and Galley which is probably easier to find by sail than by car.

Large thatched building with a large car park on the A338 just north of Fordingbridge. Well kept ales and food that is always freshly prepared and well cooked and the portions are large! The menu is very varied with regular dishes plus specials. The staff are all helpful, friendly and neat; a credit to the pub.
